Raymond Ogette Ojoi better known by his stage name O-Gee, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer and poet.

O-Gee was born in Lagos, Nigeria to Capt. and Mrs. O.O Ojoi and is the youngest of five children. During his early years, he listened to the likes of Ralph Tresvant, Jodeci, Boys II Men, Lauryn Hill, Ray Charles, The notorious BIG to name a few.

He comes from a family of singers, rappers, producers, DJ's and dancers who influenced him positively to consider starting a career in music; so, he started honing his talents and performing at an early age in school plays and with friends in his neighborhood. During this period, he and a few friends from high school came together to form an R&B/HipHop boy group called SODOS, with each letter representing their first name. However, the group disbanded and he was left to start his solo career.

He started his solo music career while in his university, performing at school events and also making guest appearances in other universities around the state.

 

O-Gee started out remixing songs like Wizkid's "Don't Dull" to Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow" while gradually penning and recording his own songs.

His first official single POOM! Is off his #GeedUp project was released on the 2nd of January, 2016 which also happened to be his birthday, is a gift to his friends, fans & people who helped make the project a reality.

O-Gee followed up with a Rap interlude titled “Happy Birthday” which was based on an event in his life and has presently put out a new single titled “Things You Like” which features Afro-pop singer Shun Breezy.

O-Gee shows his diversity in his genre he calls R&B fusion. He is ready to make his mark in the industry for a long time to come.
